Vote for Grayson!
I've entered Grayson into a holiday photo contest. Make sure to vote for my little cutie and help spread the word. Top prize is $1,000 and two runners-up get $250. Of course the prize money would be put into his savings account. Voting starts either this evening or tomorrow!

This is how I roll. . .
Grayson actually seems okay with the whole daycare thing. He is such a social little kid, so I think he enjoys all the new faces and the different interactions. I am definitely more tore up about this than he is. He has three different ladies that look after him, and I can already tell which one is his favorite. His smiles for her make me feel a little bit better that he is being well taken care of. Dad is the one that drops him off in the morning and picks him up. I work further away, and my schedule can really vary, so this seemed to be best for us. Plus, it saves me from dropping him off and feeling quite so guilty.
There where some great things that happened this week too, that kept us grounded. Some of our friends, Janet and John, came by Thursday evening and brought dinner. We were so thankful. Yummy, barbacue tofu! Then later that evening Grayson rolled over for the first time! We new it was coming so we have been working a little each night at it. He was so proud of himself, and hasn't stopped since! Friday night after I laid him down, we heard him talking and laughing, so I went in there to see what he was doing. That crazy little monkey, he had rolled over and looking out 'the jail bars' of his crib. It was like he had discovered a whole new world and was so excited. I'm pretty sure he was talking to his frog humidifier too. It has a green light on it, so it grabbed his attention. He really is enjoying his new discoveries. Sense of wonder, you don't realize how much you lack it, until you see a child have it.
Well we are ready to enjoy our weekend, and prepare a little better for next week. Gray is four months old today and I have to soak up each second before the next month flies by.
One second at a time, as someone has told me. She also said, face it, your kids are an addiction. Yep, Elizabeth, they are. Everyday with him is a whole new high.
